Help/Advice

Sanded or un-sanded grout is an extremely porous material, and even under the best conditions will become soiled and stained. Grout Lines.com will eliminate this problem by sealing your grout. Our sealers (from Clear to color) not only guarantees that you will have beautifully consistent colored grout but it will resist stains from sources such as: minerals in water, soap, shampoos, food, drinks and dirt, etc.

Our cleaning and color sealing process restores your soiled stained tile & grout lines to a beautiful "like new" appearance. They can protect new and old installations alike. In the long run, this process saves you time, money and effort of scrubbing your tile grout on your hands and knees.

So avoid expensive re-grouting (unless it must be done), which when done must be sealed after three days anyway, or the process starts all over. Let GroutLines.com restore your grout lines to "like new" condition. (We think better than new because now it’s sealed once done) Use epoxy based grouts only - insist on it, we only use epoxy now which is made for shower pans, a one time fix.

1. New Home owners, or newly installed tile.
Un-sanded or sanded grout, along with certain tiles must be sealed or in a short period will become dirty and stained. If it’s a new home or a new install make sure your grout is clear sealed. This process should be done no sooner than 72 hours after install & in our opinion as soon as possible before any staining occurs ... Call Groutlines.com for a free estimate...

7. I'm curious, why did my kitchen grout become so soiled in the first place...it's only a few years old?
Rarely do tile installers seal grout. Why? Because new grout needs to cure for several days before it can be sealed. Meantime, (never sweep or use swifter's on tile pushes debris into low spots, vacuum is best lift up debris) dirty mop water finds its way into the grout pores. Basically #1 explains why... but with new epoxy grouts for residential same as commercial epoxy you have stain free superior bonding and bacteria proof product, whoever you hire, insist if grout is needed - it's epoxy.
